Module 1: Meet Aura (Your AI Study Assistant)

Before we learn the tools, let's understand what AI really is — through a story.

R
Rahul
Ugh! This chapter on Quantum Physics makes no sense. And I just saw a shocking news article… but is it even true? How do I check?
A
Aura
Hello Rahul! I am your AI study assistant. I have studied millions of books and articles. Tell me what's confusing you — let's break it down together with a simple everyday analogy!

Wow — it's like having a private tutor, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. And completely free!

💡 AI is not magic. It is a fast reader and a brilliant organizer. The key is knowing how to ask the right questions.

The 3-Ingredient Prompt Formula

To get the best answers from any AI, always use this simple structure (based on Google Cloud's best practices for Prompt Design):

🎭 Role — Tell the AI who to be: "Act as a [Teacher / Journalist / Career Coach]."

🎯 Task — Tell it what to do: "Explain [topic] / Verify [claim] / Rewrite [my draft]."

📝 Format — Tell it how to present: "Use a [List / Analogy / Table / Short Paragraph]."

Module 2: Your Study Cheat Sheets

Copy these prompts directly into any AI chatbot (ChatGPT, Google Gemini, etc.) and watch them work.

Study Slide 1: Learning Any Difficult Topic

Stuck on physics, chemistry, history, or economics? Don't just search 'What is X?' — ask AI to teach you like a tutor!

Role: Act as an expert high-school teacher who is great at making complex ideas simple.
Task: Explain the concept of [Quantum Physics / Inflation / Photosynthesis] to me. I am a Class 10 student.
Format: Use a simple, real-world analogy involving everyday objects. Keep it under two short paragraphs in simple English.

Study Slide 2: Fact-Checking & Verifying Information

With misinformation everywhere, AI can be your research partner — helping you find multiple viewpoints and sources before you believe or share anything.

Role: Act as a professional investigative journalist and neutral researcher.
Task: I read a claim that says: [paste the claim here]. Please fact-check this. Provide the main arguments FOR and AGAINST this claim.
Format: Present in a clear bulleted list. Name specific, verifiable organizations or sources I can search myself to confirm.

Study Slide 3: Professional Communication

Need to email a professor, apply for an internship, or write a formal letter? AI can help you sound confident and professional.

Role: Act as an expert career coach and communication specialist.
Task: I have written a rough draft of an email to a professor / recruiter. Please rewrite it to sound polite, confident, and grammatically correct.
Format: Give me two versions: one formal and one slightly conversational.
🛡️ Module 3

Module 3: Using AI Safely (Based on EU AI Act Guidelines)

The European Union has passed the world's first major AI law — the EU AI Act. Here is what it means for you as a student in simple terms:

Your Right to Know (Transparency Rule)

You have the right to know when you are talking to a machine or viewing AI-generated content. If you see a photo or video online that seems too dramatic or perfect, it may be a 'Deepfake' (AI-generated). Always use your fact-checking prompt before sharing it!

High-Risk AI: Your Resume & CV

Many companies now use AI to screen CVs before a human ever sees them. This is classified as 'High-Risk AI' under the EU Act. Practical tip: Always use a clean, simple resume format without fancy fonts, tables, or graphics — so the AI can read it easily and give you a fair chance.

🚫 The Do Not Upload Checklist

Never upload the following to any free public AI chatbot:

  • 🪪 Your Aadhaar Card, Passport, or any government ID number
  • 🏦 Financial information, bank passwords, or UPI PINs
  • 📄 Your original exam essays, thesis drafts, or unreleased creative work
  • 🩺 Personal medical records or sensitive health information

The Golden Rule: AI Is Not a Fact Checker!

AI is a brilliant writer and organizer, but a terrible fact-checker. If the AI tells you a historical date, a scientific figure, or a medical fact — always cross-check it with a trusted book, government website, or newspaper before using it in your studies or sharing it with others.
