AI & You: The Everyday Superpower
A free, practical lesson on using AI to study smarter — not harder. Available to all students in the Ziradei area.
Module 1: Meet Aura (Your AI Study Assistant)
Before we learn the tools, let's understand what AI really is — through a story.
💡 AI is not magic. It is a fast reader and a brilliant organizer. The key is knowing how to ask the right questions.
The 3-Ingredient Prompt Formula
To get the best answers from any AI, always use this simple structure (based on Google Cloud's best practices for Prompt Design):
🎭 Role — Tell the AI who to be: "Act as a [Teacher / Journalist / Career Coach]."
🎯 Task — Tell it what to do: "Explain [topic] / Verify [claim] / Rewrite [my draft]."
📝 Format — Tell it how to present: "Use a [List / Analogy / Table / Short Paragraph]."
Module 2: Your Study Cheat Sheets
Copy these prompts directly into any AI chatbot (ChatGPT, Google Gemini, etc.) and watch them work.
Study Slide 1: Learning Any Difficult Topic
Stuck on physics, chemistry, history, or economics? Don't just search 'What is X?' — ask AI to teach you like a tutor!
Study Slide 2: Fact-Checking & Verifying Information
With misinformation everywhere, AI can be your research partner — helping you find multiple viewpoints and sources before you believe or share anything.
Study Slide 3: Professional Communication
Need to email a professor, apply for an internship, or write a formal letter? AI can help you sound confident and professional.
Module 3: Using AI Safely (Based on EU AI Act Guidelines)
The European Union has passed the world's first major AI law — the EU AI Act. Here is what it means for you as a student in simple terms:
Your Right to Know (Transparency Rule)
High-Risk AI: Your Resume & CV
🚫 The Do Not Upload Checklist
Never upload the following to any free public AI chatbot:
- 🪪 Your Aadhaar Card, Passport, or any government ID number
- 🏦 Financial information, bank passwords, or UPI PINs
- 📄 Your original exam essays, thesis drafts, or unreleased creative work
- 🩺 Personal medical records or sensitive health information
The Golden Rule: AI Is Not a Fact Checker!
AI is a brilliant writer and organizer, but a terrible fact-checker. If the AI tells you a historical date, a scientific figure, or a medical fact — always cross-check it with a trusted book, government website, or newspaper before using it in your studies or sharing it with others.
